Position Summary

Westcott Designs is seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to take ownership of product quality across our manufacturing operation.

This position is solely responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet Westcott Designs’ strict standards for fit, finish, function, appearance, and overall workmanship before they are approved for packaging and shipment to a customer.

The Quality Control Inspector / Manager serves as the final authority between manufacturing and fulfillment. Products that do not meet Westcott Designs standards will be rejected and returned to the appropriate department for rework or designated for scrap when necessary.

Beyond inspection, this position will work closely with the Operations Manager to identify recurring quality issues, improve manufacturing processes, establish inspection standards, and reduce defects and rework throughout production.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform final quality inspections on manufactured Westcott Designs products prior to packaging and shipment.
• Inspect products for dimensional accuracy, weld quality, fabrication quality, machining, hardware, coating/finish, assembly, appearance, and overall workmanship.
• Verify products meet established drawings, specifications, tolerances, and Westcott Designs quality standards.
• Approve or reject finished products based on established quality requirements.
• Stop products from moving to fulfillment or shipping when they do not meet quality standards.
• Return rejected products to the appropriate manufacturing department with clear documentation of the issue and required corrective action.
• Determine when products can be reworked versus when they should be scrapped.
• Re-inspect corrected products before approving them for shipment.
• Track defects, rework, scrap, and recurring quality issues.
• Identify trends and communicate quality concerns to the Operations Manager and appropriate production leads.
• Work with the Operations Manager to develop and improve quality-control procedures, inspection checkpoints, and manufacturing processes.
• Help identify root causes of recurring defects and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
• Establish clear quality expectations and help ensure those standards are consistently understood throughout manufacturing.
• Provide feedback to production teams while maintaining accountability for Westcott Designs’ quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented and takes pride in producing products at a high standard. This person must be comfortable rejecting work that does not meet expectations and communicating those issues professionally and clearly to production teams.

Candidates should have:

• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, welding, automotive aftermarket manufacturing, or a similar environment.
• Previous quality-control, inspection, or manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing tolerances and quality standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, measurements, and product specifications.
• Experience using inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, tape measures, fixtures, and other QC equipment.
• Strong attention to cosmetic details, fit and finish, and workmanship.
• Ability to objectively determine whether a product meets established standards.
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify patterns and work with operations to improve processes rather than simply catching defects at the end of production.
• Confidence to hold products and processes accountable to established quality requirements, regardless of production deadlines.

Position Summary

Westcott Designs is looking for an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Content Creator & Social Media Marketer to join our in-house marketing team. This is a hands-on position responsible for capturing, creating, publishing, and managing engaging content that showcases the Westcott Designs brand, products, vehicle builds, customers, and culture.

This is not a remote position. We are looking for someone who wants to be immersed in the day-to-day activity at Westcott Designs—working alongside our marketing team, manufacturing operation, install shop, and product development team to find and create compelling content.

The ideal candidate understands social media strategy but is equally comfortable picking up a camera, walking into the shop, and creating content. Experience shooting and editing high-quality photo and video content is strongly preferred. Candidates who own and are experienced with their own professional camera equipment are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Westcott Designs' day-to-day presence across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant social platforms.
• Develop and execute a consistent social media content calendar aligned with product launches, promotions, vehicle builds, events, and broader marketing initiatives.
• Capture high-quality photo and video content of products, vehicles, installations, manufacturing, events, employees, and behind-the-scenes activity.
• Create engaging short-form video content, including Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and similar formats.
• Edit photos and videos into polished, platform-appropriate content.
• Write engaging captions and social copy that reflects the Westcott Designs brand voice.
• Identify content opportunities throughout the business rather than relying solely on pre-planned content.
• Work closely with the marketing, product development, manufacturing, and Westcott Built teams to highlight new products and projects.
• Cover vehicle builds, product installations, company events, off-road events, trade shows, and other brand activities as needed.
• Manage posting schedules, comments, messages, tags, and community engagement.
• Track social media performance, engagement, audience growth, reach, traffic, and other relevant KPIs.
• Use performance data to continually improve content strategy and identify what types of content resonate most with our audience.
• Stay current on social media trends, platform changes, emerging content formats, and automotive/off-road industry trends.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and short-form video content.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging photo and video content.
• Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Experience with photo editing tools such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, audio, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with an in-house marketing team.
• Ability to recognize and capture spontaneous content opportunities.
• Professional camera equipment and experience using it is a plus.
• Automotive, off-road, overlanding, motorsports, or enthusiast-industry experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

This is a hands-on position combining customer support, technical product assistance, order management, and inside sales. The ideal candidate is comfortable helping a customer determine the right product for their vehicle, resolving order or return issues, and picking up the phone to develop new and existing dealer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Technical Assistance

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, text, and web chat.
• Answer product and basic technical questions related to vehicle applications, fitment, installation, suspension, lift kits, wheels/tires, and other off-road accessories.
• Help customers identify the correct products for their vehicle and intended use.
• Work with production or technical team members to resolve more complex product questions.
• Provide customers with accurate information regarding pricing, availability, lead times, shipping, and order status.

Returns & Customer Resolution

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable Shipping & Warehouse Staff Member to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that products are accurately prepared, packaged, and shipped to our customers. The Shipping & Warehouse staff will also help maintain an organized warehouse, assist with inventory management, and support the production team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package products for shipment with care and accuracy.
• Process shipping labels and coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, Freight, etc.).
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Organize and keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and efficient.
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries as required.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure orders are completed and shipped on time.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed).

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
